The Time Has Come

I knew that my first car wouldn’t last forever but I thought it would last longer then the two years I’ve had it for. I have to admit that I have grown really attached to it since I have started driving it and have also put in a lot of my hard earned money into fixing it up. The car in question is a 2005 Nissan Maxima. My parents never had any intentions of buying my first car for me so I had to wait until I had enough money saved up and then put a nice down payment on it. In the last year I have replaced the exhaust, tinted the windows, and put in new seats up front. Yesterday it died on me coming home from work and from what the shop is saying I need a new engine. I have been having an internal debate about what to do but deep down I know I’m going to keep it. I just have to start looking for remanufactured engines for sale and buy one to get it back on the road.
